Abstract
As more and more people begin to learn English and use English, an unsatisfying problem appears, that is Chinglish. And the causes are numerous and diversified, which include linguistics, culture, society and so on. Chinglish thinking has exerted a tremendous influence on Chinese students’ English expression. Even after years of English learning and even at the University stage, many students still can not avoid the inherent mode of thinking in their mother tongue and can not express authentic English. The paper discusses the influences of the Chinese thinking on the English expression of Chinese students. The first part of the paper is the introduction. The second part of the paper is the influences of the Chinese thinking on the English expression of Chinese students including the introduction from the aspect of parataxis thinking, taking the words too literally and cumbersome expression. The third part is the introduction of the measures for the Chinese students to avoid the influences of the Chinese thinking to the English expression from the aspect of changing the consciousness, improving the language accumulation and increasing the cultural exchanges.
