Abstract
With the status of the global cooperation, our interaction is growing internationally day and day.
English is an international language has become an indispensable tool. English education is becoming one of the most important topic. And English education of Children in early age is obvious the first big topic we should concern for our harmonious society building. But in reality, the kindergarten English teaching activities are some good and some bad, the result of which are not very idealistic. Some people are not sure whether it is right for their children to start learning a foreign language at such an early age (3-6), and some believe that we are imposing too much on them by asking them to do so, but this is really wrong. It is already scientifically proven that children at this age actually have a strong potential to acquire almost an infinite number of new information, especially when second language learning is concerned. Moreover, it has been proven that children who learn a second language at a very early age (compared to those who don't), have more active brain spheres and later have less difficulties in school subjects other than English. Purpose to attempt increasing the effectiveness of the kindergarten English teaching, this thesis has made a study on the present situation of current English education in China, the needs of English learning, current English teaching in Kindergarten, status and problems in the kindergarten English teaching, correct method for English teaching base on kids’ physical and mental characteristics , solution and so on.
