Abstract
China's translation research has a long history and cultural tradition,and has its unique characteristics.With the development of socio-economic culture,translation as a means to communicate with the outside world is becoming more and more important.
China is the six working languages designated by the United Nations,and the other five languages are English,Russian,German,French and Spanish. Internationally, some specialized conferences and general meeting work languages are English.It is more meaningful to compare English with Chinese.If we know the similarities and differences between the two languages,we can learn a second language better to achieve cross-cultural communication.
The first chapter introduces the similarities and differences between English and Chinese,both of Chinese and English are introduced and homogeneity,and introduces the differences of expression in English and Chinese (including described the differences of cultural differences in the way of thinking and values of cultural differences.)
The second chapter introduces Chinese translation history,and narrates the five climax of China's translation career.
The third chapter is about The foreign media reported for The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
In chapter 4,we describe the challenges and tasks of translation,respectively narrating the challenges of the development of the translation industry and the great challenges faced by translators and the tasks we accept.
The fifth chapter,at the end of this paper discusses the language as a part of culture,reflects the cultural characteristics and differences in different countries,make us more clear awareness of the beauty of the world,to better achieve intercultural communication,we should also constantly learning and progress.
