Abstract
With the rapid development of globalization, countries in the world are deepening their links in all fields such as politics, economy, trade and culture. As a necessary tool for communication, English has been playing an increasingly important role. Under this epochal and social background, English Enlightenment education has been paid more and more attention and got the quick development. However, due to later beginning and lower level of the infancy English enlightenment teaching, there are a number of problems to be solved. In order to promote the further and healthy development for infants and to increase the effectiveness of English enlightenment teaching for infants. The existing problems of English enlightenment teaching for infants was briefly analyzed based on the following four aspects including the teaching objectives being indefinite, the teaching materials lack systematic and scientific, the teaching methods formalization and simplification, the teaching eva luation system is incomplete in this thesis. On this basis the author put forward some relative measures and suggestions which including definitude the teaching objectives, making the teaching materials scientization and systematization, optimizing the teaching methods, and improving the teaching eva luation system etc.
