Abstract
The Pride and Prejudice is a female topic novel wrote by a female writer. The author Jane Austen indicates her comprehensions in the book. She believes that women have the intelligence and reason as the man does. In her writing style, the outstanding woman have more percipient and sense than the man .The woman have ability of learning knowledge, and women do not regard patience and docility as a virtue. In this paper, it will mainly analyze the background of the Jane Austen's female characters first, and then this paper will analyze the female characters in Pride and Prejudice. The third part of this paper analyzes the statement of female characters in Pride and Prejudice. The last part is the conclusion. Through the analysis of this paper, it will provide a reference for the late research.
