Abstract
In today's society, as an effective means of entertainment and publicity of culture, movies have been widely introduced into the lives of Chinese people. However, English movies are the main channel for people to understand western culture and folk customs, and they are increasingly favored by Chinese audiences. At the same time, the subtitle translation of films has also become an effective guarantee for the realization of language and cultural exchanges in various countries. This paper takes the American movie "pirates of the Caribbean" as an example.
