Abstract:
With the acceleration of the process of China’s reform and opening up, more and more foreign friends come to China. In daily life, the wrong tourism sign translation can often be seen. These mistakes bring a lot of inconvenience to foreign tourists and also damage China’s international image. Hence, it is an important task to improve the translation quality of tourism signs. This paper summarizes the study of tourism sign translation and analyzed the translation skills of different styles of tourism signs. And some strategies and suggestions are put forward in connection with the status and existing problems of China’s tourism sign translation.

随着中国改革开放的加速,越来越多的国外友人进驻中国。在日常生活中,错误的英文翻译随处可见,最明显的就是旅游公示语的翻译,这给外国朋友带来了很多不便,从很大程度上破坏了中国的对外形象。因此,旅游公示语的翻译质量急需提高。本文总结了对旅游公示语翻译的研究,并对不同文体形式的旅游公示语做出分析。然后目前中国旅游公示语翻译现状及存在的问题提出策略和建议。
