Abstract
With the further deepening of the Chinese opening policy and the rapid economic development, an increasing number of foreign tourists take China as their tourist destinations. In this process, historical scenic sites have played a significant role in the cultural exchanges between China and other countries. Meanwhile, the development of tourism sets higher requirements for the translation of historical tourist texts, as an important means of providing foreigners with tourist information, the C-E (Chinese-English) historical sites translation plays a decisive role in the tourism industry development. More studies should be done on how to improve the quality of the C-E tourist translation.
In this thesis, we will discuss the above topic with four chapters. It is sincerely hoped that this research will contribute to improving the quality of the historical site texts translation.
