ABSTRACT
With the deepening of the international communication， intercultural communication have gradually become essential to life content. Food culture is also cross-cultural communication central African language an important part of culture. Understand the differences between Chinese and western food culture and its origin， for foreign language learners， can not only increase the understanding of the target language culture， more can improve the success rate of cross-cultural communication. This article from the western diet culture in the difference of the focus， meal form of differences， cooking， the difference of the diet custom of the difference of the western diet culture are compared， the purpose is to define the western diet cultural differences， eliminate boundaries， enhancing mutual understanding and promote the exchange.
