Abstract
Comparing Chinese family education with American's from the angle of cross-culture. Family education is one of the important parts of education, and it takes great effect not only on personal growth but also the development of entire society. Influenced by all kinds of society factors such as politics, economy, cultural, family education of different country presents different character. This thesis wants to carry out a comparative study about family education between China and America in the view of values. The two different cultures reflect the difference of the people's life styles. This thesis endeavors to analyze the cultural differences and their rooted causes in Chinese and American family education from the characters and current situation, and seeing the insufficiency of our family education. The author hopes to find a satisfied family education method and the hopes this paper can provide some helpful suggestions for family education.
