摘 要
《呼啸山庄》是19世纪英国女作家艾米莉·勃朗特的唯一一部小说,这部不朽的古典文学作品曾被许多学者研究,它所展现的爱情、写作技巧、及复仇心理等都曾被热烈的讨论。本论文则拟从主题、人物形象、环境描写及情节设计这四个方面对该作品的哥特式艺术手法进行研究探讨,以更好的领略这一作品经久不衰的艺术魅力。

ABSTRACT
Wuthering Heights is the only novel written by the famous English writer Emily Bronte, who lived in the 19th century. This great classic literature has been studied by many scholars over centuries, besides, the love,writing skills and the revenge presented in this novel has also caused heated debates over a long period. This paper is to explore the Gothic features in Wuthering Heights from four aspects: the subject、the characters、the environments and the plots. Through these analyses, the readers may better appreciate the ever long lasting charm of this novel.
