摘    要
本文主要研究英语拟声词汉译问题。首先简要说明拟声词的定义和作用;再介绍英语拟声词的两大分类;在得出拟声词分类的基础上,探讨英语拟声词汉译技巧;接着进一步说明英语拟声词句法功能在汉译过程中的转化问题;然后讨论英语拟声词汉译的注意事项;最后,指出了学习准确翻译英语拟声词的作用。

ABSTRACT
This thesis focuses on how to translate English onomatopoeia into Chinese. Firstly, it explains the definition and function of onomatopoeia. After that it puts forward the two categories of English onomatopoeia. On the basis of the classifications, it explores four translation skills of translating English onomatopoeia into Chinese. After elaborating the transformation of the syntactic function on onomatopoeia translation in details, it offered some suggestions on onomatopoeia translation. Finally, it points out the significance of translating English onomatopoeia accurately.
