摘 要
本文首先结合高级英语教学实际和现代语言教学理论阐释了培养学生自主学习能力的必要性。其次介绍了自主学习能力的相关理论:自主学习的定义,影响自主学习的因素,自主学习的策略。最后在分析自主学习策略的基础上,着重探讨了在高级英语教学中学生自主学习能力的培养途径在于:运用现代媒体教育培养学生的自主学习能力;发挥教师作用,培养学生自主学习意识;发挥学生主观能动性,培养自主学习能力。

ABSTRACT
This paper firstly demonstrates the necessity of cultivating students’ autonomous learning ability in Advanced English Teaching on the analysis of the teaching situation of the Advanced English course and modern language teaching theory. Secondly it gives an introduction to the definition and strategies of autonomous learning. Finally on the basis of autonomous strategies put forward by other scholars, it probes into the ways to cultivate students’autonomous learning ability through Advanced English teaching: to give full play to the multimedia in Advanced English Teachin, to bring teacher’s role into full play, to give full play of students’ subjective initiative.
