摘 要
本文从《远离尘嚣》作品中的女主角芭斯西巴入手，展示了作者哈代对于一位在父权制下超越传统的维多利亚妇女的人物塑造。通过对其中的人物特点和故事情节的细致分析，展现女主角芭斯西巴的情感变迁历程，并归纳芭斯西巴情感变迁的成因，最后得出这一变化的根源:哈代的一种现实主义婚恋观。

ABSTRACT
Focusing on the heroine in the novel “Far From The Madding Crowd”, this thesis presents Hardy’s depiction of a Victorian woman一 Bathsheba, who surpasses the tradition under patriarchy. By a detailed analysis of the main characters and the main plot, the thesis presents Bathsheba’s affection transition, her psychological changes and characteristics. The causes for the transition are also discussed here and it finally reveals Hardy’s realism attitude towards love and marriage.
