漢英委婉語表達方式的比較
摘要
漢英都存在著大量的委婉語。中英文的委婉語在很多方面是相似的，例如說委婉語的構成和委婉語的社會功能。但是它們存在很多差異，它們的差異之處主要根植於不同的宗教，習俗，和價值觀念之中，本篇論文試圖通過分析中英委婉語表達方式的相同以及不同之處，幫助人們在交往中達到理想的交際效果。

The Comparison of Euphemism Terms
in Chinese and English
Abstract
There are euphemisms in Chinese as well as in English. There are similarities, such as in the terms of formation, and the communicative functions. However, they also have dissimilarities. Since euphemisms are rooted in different religion, convention, and value concepts; they are expressed in different ways. By analyzing the similarities and differences in Chinese and English euphemism terms，I hope people can reach an ideal communicative effect in social communication. Because euphemisms can help people form a positive communicative atmosphere to establish harmonious social relationships and eventually to achieve the communication goals.
