摘 要
本文首先概括了兰斯顿·休斯作品的主旨,指出其创建的黑人诗歌模式是文学殿堂的一大瑰宝,更是实现前景化的有效途径;然后,综述了国内外重要学者对前景化理论的研究和发展,并提出前景化与作品主旨之间存在一种互动的关系,即前景化突出主旨,主旨决定前景化的真正内容;最后,以兰斯顿·休斯于晚年时期创作的代表性诗歌之一《发生在约克怀尔的死》为研究对象,结合了于学勇的前景化实现模式,深入分析兰斯顿·休斯的黑人诗歌及其主题的深化。

ABSTRACT
This thesis first summarizes the predominating themes in Langston Hughes’ poetry, and points out that the model of “Black Poetry” Langston Hughes established is a gem of world literature and a very useful way to realize foregrounding in his poems. Then, it discusses the development of foregrounding theory and puts forward that there exists an interactive relationship between foregrounding and theme, that is, foregrounded features make the theme stand out while the theme determines what is really foregrounded. Finally, the thesis employs Yu Xueyong’s pattern of foregrounding to make a thorough study of the poem titled “Death in Yorkville”, one of the representative poems written by Langston Hughes in his later years.
