Abstract
Beautiful city Leshan becomes a famous city in the world thanks to its "The First World Buddha". We can say, Buddha lives on the religion and the religion breeds this scenic spots which is enlisted in "World Inheritance List". Therefore, exploiting the religious traveling resources in Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Spot has enormous potential. The author studies Leshan Buddhism traveling, it’s cultural historical origin, at the same time, he studies the developments in Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Spot and diagnoses tourists’ mental needs. Finally, he summarizes several methods to further excavate Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Spot’s religion traveling resources, namely: developing religion sightseeing, religion pilgrimage traveling, religious study and exchange traveling, keeping fit with the help of religion and religious leisure entertainment traveling. Through these reasonable use of Buddhism traveling resources in Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Spot, it’s helpful for people to further understand the scenic spot which can meet their demands for the traveling products in certain degree, at the same time it is good for the long-term development of Leshan’s tourism.
