On English translation of Chinese Scenic Spot introduction Texts from the Perspective of Translation Aesthetics

Abstract: After the implementation of the policy of reform and opening up, China has opened its doors to the world. As one of the "rising sun industry" in twenty-first Century, the tourism industry is booming. How to make China's tourism resources to attract more foreign tourists has become an important issue in the process of Chinese tourism development. Among them, the translation of Scenic-Spot introduction assumes a crucial role. However, there are various kinds of mistakes in the translation. In order to improve the accuracy of the translation of Scenic-Spot introduction, this thesis will explore the strategies in English translation of Chinese Scenic-spot Introduction from the perspective of translation aesthetics, which will be benefit for the future studies.
