On the Importance of Culture Factors in Senior High School English Teaching
Abstract
With the integration of the global economy, the international communication is becoming more and more frequent. English, as the most widely used language in the world, highlights the importance of intercultural communication. In order to meet the needs of communication, the development of society and the improvement of students' quality, English learning has been listed as one of the main courses in our country. English teaching is the combination of language teaching and culture teaching. This paper is divided into four parts: first, it is necessary to realize the importance of cultural factors in English Teaching in senior high school. Second, it refers to the lack of cultural factors in English Teaching in senior high schools, including the neglect of cultural factors in the teaching of discourse, syntax and vocabulary teaching. Third, it is imperative to strengthen the cultural factors of English Teaching in senior high school, including arousing the students' awareness of learning the foreign language culture factors, and enriching the cultural factors in teaching. Through the reflection of high school English education, it is looking forwards to achieving cultural factors into English Teaching in senior high school.
