Abstract
Tourism text translation is one of the important means of cultural transmission. The rich cultural connotation of tourism activities makes it necessary to pay attention to cultural factors in scenic-spot introduction texts translation.As a necessary element of tourism materials, scenic-spots’ translation arouses more and more attention throughout China.This thesis mainly focuses on the translation of scenic spots' introduction from the perspective of culture.There are two main points about translation strategy:domestication and foreignization.This thesis discusses how to choose strategy by considering translation target, reader acceptance and text type.It divides cultural factors of scenic spot texts translation into three aspects:language,society and aesthetics. Then it analyses the practical usage of these strategies with several specific examples.
