Abstract
Culture and language merge together. Understanding the cultural background of language can greatly promote language translation. With the process of reform and opening up, exchanges between China and other countries and regions have become more and more frequent. Scholars have also conducted in-depth discussions on the topic of the influence of culture on translation. People in the field of translation agree that cultural factors play an important role in translation. In the process of translation, cultural factors can not be ignored. Whether cultural differences meet cultural requirements is one of the important criteria of translation. This paper analyses and explains the influence of cultural differences on translation and translation strategies.
This article is divided into five chapters.
Chapter one introduces some translation theories of translators, and briefly analyses the relationship between culture and translation by some translators.
Chapter two elaborates on the cultural and linguistic implications and functions. In addition, it introduces the process of translation development and some translation theories, as well as the relationship between them.
The third chapter summarizes the classification of culture from different angles, and generalizes culture into five types.
Chapter Four gives some examples to illustrate the influence of culture on translation, and puts forward some translation methods for reference in view of the influence of culture on translation.
The fifth chapter summarizes the full text. Finally, it expounds the relationship between culture, translation and language, and puts forward the prospect for future translation.
