Abstract
Hugo's thought in the Les Miserables is in the whole creation, and the most important one is the thought of humanism. Hugo’s writing shows that humanity is revealed the dark, tyranny, to ward off evil and the pursuit of human rights, fulfilling love's strength. Along with social progress and development, we can say that this spirit has transcended reality and history, becomes a concentrated presentation of the human mind, it shows people’s eternal pursuit of completion, perfect and harmony.
If people deeply think the humanitarian spirit in Les Miserables, it can not only deepen our thinking on Hugo’s works, but his unique and rich visual thinking about moral issues has a very strong sense of human morality. It will be more useful for us today's moral construction.
