Abstract
With the pace of China's reform and opening up, international communication is increasing, the difference between Chinese and Western etiquette culture is more and more exposed, the impact of this difference couldn’t be ignored, we need to understand the differences in these rituals before the integration of Chinese and Western etiquette.
Table manners change over time.They follow the fashion of the day. Beside, table manners are only important at formal dinner parties. If you're not sure what to do, you can always follow your hosts. Although good manners always make you look good, you do not need to worry about all these rules while having dinner with your friends or family.
People’s dining position reflects the most obvious etiquette of Chinese table manners. In ancient society, men are supreme and women are not allowed to sit with men on the same table. Although in this modern society, this kind of ancient etiquette still remains.
