Abstract
Recently, the English teaching for kids has been paid more attention by family and society, and in the process of childhood English teaching, the game teaching method is relatively common. Interest is the key to master a language. Adding games into teaching process appropriately is beneficial to enhance the interest of the kids. Teachers can create a certain teaching situation according to the specific content of the course to stimulate children’s interest in learning to enhance their initiative and enthusiasm for learning English.
However, how to teach children English as a second language is a puzzling question. This article will elaborate several aspects about the game teaching function, the necessity of game teaching, the game design characteristic and etc to make the presentation about the application of game teaching in English for kids.
