Abstract: As a famous writer of Renaissance times in Canada, Margaret Laurence created many outstanding works and made tremendous contributions to the contemporary feminine literature. Her works reflect the human freedom and the existent problems. These works expressed her feelings and pursuit. The Loons tells the story of an Indian girl’s short life experience and the disappearance of the bird which reveals the women and the natural ecology are rejected by the mainstream culture. The article reveals the development of industrial civilization brings disasters to the natural and human and analysis the author’s opposition to the patriarchal socialist as the center, and she claimed construct the human and the nature harmonious environment.

摘 要:玛格丽特·劳伦斯作为加拿大文艺复兴时期的著名作家,创造了许多著名作品并且为当代女性文学做出了巨大贡献。她的作品大多反映人自由和生存问题,表达了她的情感与追求。《潜水鸟》讲述了一个印第安女孩一生短暂的经历和潜水鸟的消逝,揭示了女性和自然生态被主流文化所排斥的社会状况。这篇文章揭露了工业文明对人类和自然带来的灾难,探讨了作者反对男权主义的为中心,要求建立人与自然和谐环境的主张。
