Abstract
Along with the progress of the Times, the English is more and more popular. And English is polarizing in primary school life at present. There are many differences in the students' interest in learning. Some students are interested in learning, they will be better, but for others aren’t interested in English even are bored in English. English is the "obstacle" along the road for them. Therefore, students must learn the fun of learning English in primary school, so as to improve their ability to speak English and speak English bravely. In the eyes of pupils, games are their favorite things, so integrating games into the classroom is also the key to improve their interest in learning. Game is a commonly used teaching method in English teaching. The article focuses on this topic and explains how to arouse their interests from three aspects. Firstly, the present situation of English learning is expounded in primary school. Secondly, I introduce the role of games and the application of games. Thus, it enables students to learn English in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.
