Abstract
"Pride and Prejudice" is a masterpiece of Austen. To this day, the novel is still very popular among many readers, which has aroused people's observation and infinite consideration of marriage. Jane Austin has carried on the detailed description for four pairs of men and women of love and marriage, with its unique perspective of women reveals that the 19th century social values and the marriage of young people and the values. Meanwhile, the description of these stories reveals Jane Austen's own understanding of the concept of marriage. The four marriages described by Jane Austen in the book reflect the British bourgeois marriage status at that time. Money and interests were combined for the universal phenomenon of marriage at that time. The aim of this article is to explore the views of love and marriage "Pride and Prejudice". That is: love and marriage are linked together, but not entirely in terms of property and social status. Based on the love of marriage, mutual understanding and mutual respect is a real happy marriage. Austen not only opposed marriage for money, but also for imprudence. She attaches great importance to the ideal marriage and the cornerstone of an ideal marriage as a relationship between man and woman.
