Abstract
Because of English is the most widely applied language in the world, it is essential to learn English no matter what the purpose is. Chinese English teaching education is starting from the primary school. However there are some problems existing on whole education situation for English teaching, such as the professional teacher is not enough. This thesis aims to analysis these existed problem and find out some methods and set examples of teaching and improving primary school students’ oral English from their characteristics. The characteristic of primary school students is they have great deformation; great stimulated ability; strong curiosity and strong desire for knowledge; great memory ability and they have less psychological burden. And some methods are given is from four aspects of increasing practice from listening; foster speaking ability from sentences; create English communicative atmosphere; and treat student properly when they make mistakes.
