Abstract
Khaled Hossein's novel Kite Runner is an autobiographical novel. The writer is a U.S. Afghan writer, who tells the story of the growth of Amir, an Afghan teenager. He betrayed his brother Hassan and later took the road to salvation. This article is divided into four parts to analyze the betrayal and redemption in the novel . The first part mainly introduces the writer and the contents of the novel so that readers can understand the background of the novel. The second part mainly discusses the betrayal among the characters in the novel, mainly studying Amir's betrayal of Hassan, Amir's father's betrayal of Amir and Hassan's father. The third part mainly analyzes the process and reasons of Amer's salvation. The fourth part summarizes the betrayal and salvation in the novel.
