Abstract The evolution of the concept of salvation in the English-American ecological literature should evolve from the transformation of the relationship between God, man, and nature. Through the evolution of western religion and social ideas, this paper selects some representative works in British and American literature, as well as scholars’ research perspectives to sort out the evolution process of the redemption concept is divided into the following three stages: God's salvation to man, man's salvation to man (man to man), and man's salvation to nature.
