Abstract
In literary translation, whether to choose a domestication strategy or a dissimilation strategy has always been the focus of the translation community. The author of this paper believes that the translator's choice is closely related to the translator's cultural position and the translator's cultural context. This article will illustrate this issue by comparing the two versions of "Dream of Red Mansions."
